About the Artist

Hi, I’m Sydney Blakewell, a 10-year-old artist from Fort Worth, Texas. I started painting when I was just six years old. When the pandemic hit during my kindergarten year, I needed a way to express my artistic abilities—so I learned to paint!

 

Animals have always been close to my heart, so making them the focus of my art felt natural. My first commissioned piece, a longhorn painting for my grandfather, inspired me to share my work with others. While I love to keep my originals, I now offer limited-edition prints and take on commissioned projects for those looking for something uniquely personal.

 I also love to teach others the craft I've learned, so I am happy to offer lessons using the painting techniques that I've learned along the way.
